Venture capital is a relatively new area within the financial markets of developing countries. While there is no standard definition of the concept, one school of thought considers it an early-stage development or start-up financing measure for new companies that are making efforts to grow rapidly, while the other identifies it almost exclusively with the financing of ventures based on advanced technologies.
