The present study is designed with analytical sophistication, theoretical soundness and empirical grounding to bring in deeper critical insights into an understanding of the incidence of poverty and nature of exploitation of tribes in the process of development with the Kandhs of Koraput district in Odisha as case study. Undoubtedly, the volume will be useful to those interested in equitable, participatory, inclusive and sustainable tribal development.
