About Author : Dr. P.C. Mishra is currently a senior lecturer in Ecology in School of Life Sciences, Sambalpur University, Orissa. He did his M.Sc. in Biological Sciences in 1975 and got the doctorate degree from Sambalpur University in Animal Ecology working on ecophysiological aspects of forest earthworm communities of Western Orissa. He was associated with a D.O.E. sponsored major research proejct entitled 'Pollution Load and Water Quality in Mahanandi River System' as Senior Research Associate for his post doctoral work. Dr. Mishra was also associated with two U.G.c. sponosred research projects entitled 'Persistence and Effects of Pesticide in Soil and Earthworm and 'Agro-potentiality of Paper Mills Waste through Vemicomposting' as Coinvestigator and Chief Investigator respectively.
