News reporting is the process of gathering information in a variety of ways, including tips, press release, and witnessing events. News editing is the process of correction, condensation, organization, and other modifications of the copy providing by the reporter.This book is information to reporting, writing and editing news and the basic elements of the news story. While concentrating on print, it explores story forms and reporting and editing skills common to all media, including online journalism. It also describes the way in which new technologies transformed the practice of journalism from news gathering to news presentation.
