It is a partnership between the pupil and teacher, the curriculum and the class room. Keeping the above things in mind the auhtor wrote this book and named "Teaching of Mathematics".This book is written for use as a text book in a course meant for B.Ed. and M.Ed. Students. It is also useful for the teacher educators, researchers and untrained teachers who are actively engaged in mathematics teaching. This book has been written to help the teacher and students in understanding the methodology of teaching mathematics in a systematic and effective manner. About Author : Dr. Lokanath Mishra, possesses a good academic records. He passed M.Sc. (Mathematics) in 1995 and M.Ed. in 1996 in 1st Class from Sambalpur University. He also passed M.A. (Eco.) from Utkal University. He cleared the NET in Education in December 1999 conducted by U.G.C. for his pioneering work in the field of Adult Education for the Tribals, he got Ph.D. Degree in the year 2007. He has completed a Diploma Course in Bengali Language. Now he is continuing Post Graduate Diploma in Distance Education (PGDDE) in IGNOU.Soon after passing the Graduation he joined as an Asst. Teacher in Mathematics in a High School and continuin his service for five years and District Pedagogy Co-ordinator under Sarva Sikhya Aviyan (SSA) for oner year. He started his carrier as a Lecturer in Education from 1996 and rendered his services in different general and teacher training college till date.
