On the 175th anniversary of the French revolution, the former chinese premier Zhou Enlai is reported to have declared that it was too early to judge the impact of the  revolutionary events  of 1789.By Zhou's reckoning,assessing sino-Indian relations (Which go back at least b2000 years ) On the basis of the history of the last fifty years, is exceeding prematurE. Nor is it easy to speculate about the future of bilateral ties in the  new century.
