Gandhi, Gandhism and Gandhians, authored by C. M. Chakraborty, explores the life, philosophy, political ideas, and enduring influence of Mahatma Gandhi, one of the most influential leaders of India's freedom movement. The book examines the fundamental principles of Gandhian thought and their significance in shaping India's struggle for independence and its social and political development.

The work discusses key Gandhian ideals, including truth (Satya), non-violence (Ahimsa), Satyagraha, swadeshi, self-reliance, and social equality. It highlights Gandhi's approach to political resistance, communal harmony, rural reconstruction, moral leadership, and the empowerment of disadvantaged sections of society.

The book also considers the role of Gandhi's followers and interpreters, commonly known as Gandhians, in promoting and adapting Gandhian principles to different social, political, and economic contexts. It encourages readers to reflect on the continuing relevance of Gandhian philosophy in addressing contemporary challenges such as violence, inequality, social injustice, and ethical governance.
