The larger nozzle diameter extrudes more filament per second than smaller sizes, enabling faster printing where the material and slicing profile allow, with some reduction in fine detail.

Use filament profiles appropriate for a 0.8 mm nozzle and check the filament manufacturer's recommendations. Hardened steel is required for abrasive fibre-filled materials, but nozzle selection alone does not establish compatibility with every material. Verify your printer's other hardware and temperature requirements before printing.
